About us

This is a space for men who are (likely) feeling a bit lost, stuck, and alone—and who are wondering:

```
”Am I the only one?”
```

(hint: you’re not)

Seattle Men's Circle (SMC) is a monthly, drop-in circle for men who want better, more meaningful relationships; who want to connect deeply to their lives and purpose; who want to find meaning beyond the hustle and grind of work.

Each month will focus on a different theme, giving you the opportunity to explore different facets of your life, your relationships, your masculinity.

Season One themes included: Isolation & Friendships, Understanding Our Emotions, The Inner Critic, The Masks We Wear, Trust, Asking for Help, and more.

What you can expect:

  • Agreements that support the creation of a judgement-free container;
  • Group check-ins - understand who is in the room with you and how they are arriving;
  • Group shares - share to the depth that you are comfortable. Pass if you need to. See yourself in the stories of other men;
  • Partner and trio shares - using small groups to go a bit deeper and develop our capacity to listen and connect;
  • Skill building - This is especially true if you keep coming. We’ll work on skills like listening, presence, and connecting with our emotions (yeah, it’s a skill).

And more—think movement, music, poetry.

The group is limited to 12 men to ensure that every man is able to participate and find connection with others.
