What we’re about
We are a group of professional UXers hosting weekly online events focused on all things user experience (UX/UI design, user research, UX portfolios and job hunt, design strategy, content design, design tools, etc.) Past events have included design chat, live design surgery, UX portfolio reviews, and exploring tools like Lyssna and ChatGPT.
Our 1-hour events are designed to be fun and interactive and we choose topics aimed at delivering actionable insights and practical value. Whether you're currently working in a UX design role or considering making a career change, attending our events is one of the easiest ways to access valuable insights you won't find anywhere else.
One thing that we do differently is focus on small-to-medium group events, so there are more opportunities for all members to contribute and participate. We also record events, and members have access to a recording library, so they can watch events they missed, or re-watch favorite events.
Another way we are different is that we're a professional group. Members must be professional UX Designers or working towards their first UX role. Additionally, a nominal annual membership due of $12 helps cover the costs of running the group on Meetup and allows us to run most events for free. Occasionally a nominal event fee will be charged for higher-value or higher-cost events.
