Game Jam Plus

Join Seattle Indies at our first ever Game Jam Plus site! We'll be meeting in person at Venture Mechanics Startup Launchpad in the Bel-Red area, right off of 520 with plenty of free parking. The 249 bus stops about a block away as well.
Schedule:
Friday 5pm - 10pm:
5-6: Welcome networking/registration
6-7: Watch the keynote presentation
7-10: Dinner, team forming, brainstorming, pitches.
Start working on your projects.
Saturday
In person jamming available at Venture Mechanics or the Seattle AIE Campus during Indie Support Group hours from 1-7pm
Sunday
Wrap up your game and upload it to the Game Jam+ Itch.io page
Closing recap from 6-8 onsite and online. You can join and participate on our Discord server as well. *** Seattle Indies strives to be an inclusive and welcoming community for everyone. The jam starts on Friday October 18th with a typical 48 hour jam. We'll be gathering in-person at Venture Mechanics Startup Launchpad in Bellevue and we'll have channels on this Discord for you to participate remotely as well. On-site jamming will be available throughout the weekend at Venture Mechanics or you and your team can join the usual ISG meetup at AIE on Saturday if you don't want to make the trip over the East side. Sunday we will wrap things up at Venture Mechanics with the typical closing ceremonies where we show short videos of everyone's games. For some the journey will end there, but others are welcome to apply to the next phase of Game Jam+ which is incubation. Select games and teams from around the world will make it to this phase and then have a chance to compete in the regional semifinals in March 2025. The finalists will move on the acceleration phase of the jam and then be eligible for the world finals happening in Brazil in June 2025.
