Icicle Ridge via Fourth of July Creek

Details
https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/icicle-ridge
Length 12.0 miles, round trip
Elevation Gain 4,370 feet
Highest Point 7,020 feet
Driving distance: 120 miles 1-way Green Lake to TH, 2:25 hr says Google.
Expect delay on Hwy-2 on the way back, or take the longer route via I-90 (150 miles).
There might be a bit of snow left on the ridge. From the trip report on WTA 2 weeks ago, there was a rattlesnake in the upper burnt area. So need to be careful.
Early June is the ideal time to do this hike. Expect a lot of flowers. I'll be looking for Tweedy Lewisia, which I've seen on this trail before. But every year is different, so I cannot promise that we'll see any. This year is very dry.
Note:
1. I don't have a car. This event will be canceled if no one is willing to drive.
2. If you haven't hiked with me, please tell me your most recent hike of similar elevation gain.
Tentative plan:
6am: meet at Green Lake P&R
6:05am: leave for TH. Please pack food and water before meeting at P&R.
8:30am: arrive at TH.
8:40am: boot on trail.
12:40-1:40: lunch break at the summit
1:40: head down
4:40: arrive at the car.
7:30pm: back at P&R.
Please respect the turn-around time.
Please pack sun protection. Hiking poles are recommended.
Permit: NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful.
PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK; SOA organizers are volunteers. We come prepared to hike but assume no liability for your safety getting to or from the trail-head or on the hike. In case of accident, illness, or other incapacity, hikers must pay for their own medical and/or evacuation expenses, whether or not the hiker has specifically authorized them.
