Thrill The World 2025!

A huge thank you to Gina Saxby with the Queen Anne Community Center for allowing us to partner with the community center for Thrill The World Seattle 2025! This free event will take place inside the gym. Please rsvp yes only if you will be dancing with us. As most of you already know, our performance time is precisely 3:00 pm as we will be synchronized to dance with groups around the world.

The Event List shows other groups around the world that will be participating in TTW 2025. Check this link often to stay updated as organizers around the world continue to register their groups. They have until the day before the event to register. Immediately after they sign up, their information will automatically be posted in this link: https://thrilltheworld.com/event-list
Online Registration For Our Seattle Group:
The link for our local dancers to register online is: https://forms.gle/85sE4ZszgdzHDSen9 (You may need to copy and paste the link in your web browser). Registering online will help the lines at check-in on the day of go quickly. The deadline to register online is Thursday, October 23, 12:00 pm.
We Will Need Volunteers!
Please let us know that you will be able to volunteer on the day of the event either by messaging from this site, letting me know at rehearsals, or by emailing seattlethrillers@gmail.com, with "I Can Volunteer" in the subject. Help includes putting arm bands on dancers after they check in, putting away tables and chairs after the event, manning the t-shirt table (will be cash only), and if something else comes up. Thank you in advance!

Parking:
There is free unlimited free parking on all side streets. If you park on Queen Anne Ave N or in the parking garage under Trader Joe's there is a 2 hour limit.
Costumes:
When selecting your zombie attire for the event, no political themes will be allowed.
Timeline On October 25:
12:00 - 12:30 - Set up inside the gym & Room 1
12:30 - 2:30 - Dancers check in & sign waiver in Room 1
2:40 - 2:59 - Announcements, count-off for number of dancers, group photo
2:59 - "Brains" (verbal cue for lying on ground)
2:59:50 - 10 second count down
3:00 - Performance!
3:07ish - Accept donations from spectators
3:10ish - Performance by The Star Performance Troupe, students of the Ballard and Shoreline Academies of Music and Dance
3:30ish - Costume Contest
3:36ish - Invite spectators to follow along with music on slowest speed
4:15ish - End of event, break down equipment, and put away all furniture borrowed from CC for event. Out of CC by 4:45.
Donations:
We accept cash, checks, online through Benevity, and through our secure seattlethrillers.org website.
