Habitat Young Professionals - South Park New Construction Volunteer Day!

Come join fellow HYP folks in making a tangible difference in your community! This June, we will be helping out at Habitat's construction site in the South Park neighborhood. And join us after for happy hour The Woods - Two Beers Tasting Room!
No construction experience necessary, we will bring you up to speed on all the tools and knowledge you need. HYP (Habitat Young Professionals) is a volunteer group within Habitat for Humanity Seattle King County. We are completely volunteer-driven, and host volunteer and social events at least once a month, so come meet the crew and make volunteering a regular part of your lifestyle!

Site Description
Located in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle, this project will create 26 new 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath single-family residences built in 13 duplexes with off-street parking. This project will give 26 families a place to live in an area with high opportunity and is located near our other newly completed constructed development in South Park, and is just a block away from South Park Meadow, Marra-Desimone Park, and a local public school.

How to Sign Up
You must sign up through Habitat SKC's VolunteerHub page for this volunteer event - please see instructions below:

1. Go to http://hyp.seattle-habitat.volunteerhub.com/. Sign in or create a new account. When creating your account, enter “HYP” when it asks for your Join Code. The event may not show up if you do not enter the Join Code.
2. If you are creating a new account, complete the application, sign in, then go to the event schedule.
3. Select a location and shift when you want to volunteer. For this month, look for "HYP @ Yarrow Cottages New Construction" on June 29th.
4. Review the site info, click “Sign-Up” at the bottom, accept the waiver, and you’re done.
