Mystery Writers of America "Rainy Day Seminar"
The local chapter of the Mystery Writers of America is hosting a one day Rainy Day Seminar on June 24th, 2017 at Hilton Garden Inn in Bothell, WA. The seminar is focused on craft and promoting one’s publication. James Ziskin, Edgar-, Anthony- Barry-, and Lefty-nominated author of the Ellie Stone series will discuss the critical elements that make or break a story: characters, plotting, setting, clues, revision, and publication. He’s a finalist this year for the Edgar and Lefty. Beth Jusino, former Director for Marketing for an author services company and author of The Author’s Guide to Marketing: Make a Plan That Attracts More Readers and Sells More Books, will present on how to market one’s material once it’s ready. If people register for the conference prior to June 10th, they pay $80 (MWA member) or $90 (non-MWA member). After that it is $110.
