HIKE AND DINE IN GENESEE PARK

Hi Everyone,
The Genesee Mountain Trail Outer Loop is an awesome easy/moderate 3.6-4 mile hike with an elevation gain of 462 ft.
We’ll make our way along the Bison enclosure for the first part of the trail. This route starts on a wide dirt road then changes to single track for the second half. Bring plenty of water and sun protection, as parts of the trail are exposed. We’ll hike this trail clockwise and you’ll see why when we get there.

Directions: Depending on which way you’re driving on I-70 take the 256 exit, cross over the highway then take Genesee Village Rd and Genesee Trail Rd to S. Genesee Mountain Rd then you’ll come to a parking lot. This parking lot is basically on the side of the road. There are restrooms also. I’ll make sure to include a pinpoint map.

The address is included on their website and isn’t far away from where we’ll be hiking. In fact I’m not sure if I ever got back onto the highway.

They sell pizza by the slice so you’re able to order different tastes. But the gyro I had to eat was the best gyro I have ever tasted next to the one I had in Winslow, Arizona.
