Handy Heathens Repair Café & Free Store

Maybe 2026 is the one for wasting less and living more. Perhaps it's about community and finding brightness in a grim world. Whatever your reason, here's an event you can join at the start of the year to be social with your fellow non-believers.

Have a coffee machine with a chipped handle? Let's see if we can fix it.
A favorite sweater needing a little mending? Bring it along and get a helping hand.

• Small appliances and textile repairs are encouraged given our location (please don't bring your broken washing machine...)
• Used items waiting for a second life or new items you know you'll never use are also welcome. We'll have a little "free store" set up for this event.
• If you can help repair stuff, please bring your tools and supplies

Feel free to advertise your needs, wares and/or skills in the comments below. Come by to help out or get helped. At the very least, you'll see what we're all about and maybe make a friend or two.

As always, if you're particularly shy or introverted and could use a friendly introduction before attending - please send me a message so we can figure out the best way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We don't get to meet you unless you leave your house 😆
