MEET AT 9 AM; BE READY TO HIKE BY 9:15
We will meet at the Matthew Winters parking lot located just south of I-70 off the Morrison exit (Hwy 93). Depending upon the crowd, you may need to park along the road just north of the park entrance. We will hike the Village Walk, Red Rocks, Cherry Gulch, and Morrison Slide Trails (don’t worry, not as confusing as it sounds). We will be doing a shorter version of this trail loop as listed on All Trails.

This trail does allow bikes on most of it, but they usually stay on the Red Rocks Tral portion. Dogs are allowed, but there can be rattlesnakes in the area, so be aware. I’ve encountered a couple of them on hikes and never been bothered.
Bring lots of water and use sunscreen, much of the hike is open.

Route: All Trails does not have the exact route we will be taking. But you can look at these 2 for a sense of our route. I’ve combined these, we start at Matthew Winters (not Red Rocks as the first alltrails map shows) and then a turnaround after the Slide to hook up with our starting route making it a lollypop route.
