The Human Odyssey

Join Darante Lamar and his wife, Darnaya, as they share their incredible journey from religious leaders to secular humanists. Together, they offer unique perspectives on faith, deconstruction, and embracing a life of reason. Their talks provide inspiration, support, and new insights for those questioning belief systems and exploring life beyond religion. Whether you're navigating your own path or simply curious, Darante and Darnaya's story will encourage and empower you to think critically and live authentically.

We will be meeting every Monday except for the first Monday of each month.
This is a meeting supporting Democrats, Progressives, Leftists, and Independent Blue Voting Men and Women that believe in Reproductive Freedom. This is not a debate meeting.
Our topics range from Abortion Healthcare Rights, LGBTQ Healthcare and Rights, Racism and Inclusion, Universal Healthcare, Separation of Church and State, Feminism, Government/Civics, Poverty, Homelessness, Fighting Vaccine Mis and Dis Information, Immigration Rights, Worker’s Rights, Fighting for Fair Living Wages and much more.
Video clips will range from comedy, news, music, and short educational documentaries.
Meeting Etiquette:
= Please respect one another as well as your host, come with a supportive interest to learn and not to debate or shame people.
=Please be mindful to not state anti-vaccine
conspiracy, mis or disinformation.
=Please abstain from derogatory comments about
another person’s abortion healthcare or trans
healthcare at any age. Be mindful of other’s feelings
you may not understand.

Welcome, LGBTQIA+ and allies! Let's learn together about LGBTQIA+ issues and share ways to inform our society through outreach.
After introductions, we will watch informative videos about LGBTQIA+ topics and discuss them afterwards.

2. Please refrain from using words that put people down or insult people about LGBTQIA+, genders, races etc.
