Join us for one of the best bookish events of the year: The Columbus Book Festival
This is a FREE event!

Highly recommend bringing cash, bag for book purchases, water, sunscreen, & comfortable shoes!
We will be carpooling from Cincinnati To Columbus. (2 hr drive/ 1 way)

8:15a Drive to Columbus
10:30a- Arrive at event
10-4p - Shop, browse, & lunch
4:30p - Drive to Cincinnati
6:30p- Arrive at meetup point

"Book Lovers Unite!
We’re back for year three and the 2025 Columbus Book Festival will feature a whole new lineup of 200+ national and Columbus-based authors, panel discussions, author talks, book signings and more!
The Festival Marketplace will brim with dozens of bookish retailers, community exhibitors, an entertainment lineup, local food court, the popular Indie Author Alley pavilion and the Friends of the Library Big Book Sale tent.
As always, this event is free and open to all book lovers.
The lineup will be announced in April with more information to follow!
📍 Main Library (96 S. Grant Ave.)
⏰ Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
⏰ Sunday, July 13 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Columbus Metropolitan Library will never ask or require you to pay for anything associated with the Columbus Book Festival through social media channels, including but not limited to Book Festival exhibit space. We do not use payment applications like Zelle, Venmo or other payment platforms for transactions. The festival is FREE for everyone to attend, including all author presentations and ticketed sessions. Please be cautious of any persons purporting to represent the library or affiliated organizations on social media."
