Self-Directed Education walk & talk @ Botanic Garden

This is an opportunity to get to meet the families interested in setting up Singapore's first democratic school.

Self-directed education allows children to lead their own learning journey. This approach to education has a long history with schools such as Summerhill (UK) and the Sudbury Valley School (US).

Nowadays, there are hundreds of democratic schools worldwide that value self-directed education and democratic decision-making. Our aim is to set up the first democratic school in Singapore. This walk & talk is an opportunity to meet the families who support establishing such a school.

We will meet at the entrance of the Botanic Garden near Botanic Garden MRT.
