Welcome to the Meetup group: Self Empowerment For Sensitive People! This group was created out of a desire to support those of you who struggle with daily life because of one or more of these reasons:

-Fast paced, demanding, busy, loud environments can be quite draining.
-Parenting and relationships can also be draining.
-Stretching yourself thin can make you behave in ways that don’t reflect your true nature.
-You need more down time and solitude than the average person but your work/life demands don’t leave enough room for it.
-Others tell you you’re too sensitive, making you feel like you aren’t good enough.
-You may act tough or put up walls to hide your sensitivity, affecting your relationships.
-You notice a lot of details. It may cause you to shut down from overload, self-isolate, become confused and/or paralyzed by indecision. This affects your work and productivity.
-You feel and think deeply but not many can see that, so you feel misunderstood and alone.

If you said yes to any one of them, please know that you aren’t alone! There are many others who feel the same, including me. It took me a long time to understand my own sensitivity… how that impacts my view of myself and the world, the way I interact with others, and the choices I make. But I’ve learned how to manage it so that I’m much more empowered and resilient than I used to be. I’d like to help you do the same😊

What this group will offer:

Talks, events and workshops to help you understand your own sensitivity and learn how to empower yourself. I hope you’ll join me and make it a warm community of encouragement and support! About me:

I’m a life coach and energy healer certified in the Emotion Code, the Body Code, and the MAP Method. Since 2013 I began offering private sessions after experiencing a personal transformation by releasing loads of emotional baggage.

As time went on, I became more interested in emotional and mental health support. To that end, I studied Choice Theory psychology, Positive Psychology, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Emotions Coaching and trained in ICF accredited coaching.

During this time, I faced some big storms on the family front... One child had mental health issues, the other had academic struggles. My relationship with my husband was strained as well.

Thankfully, I had the support of the tools I trained in to sustain me through these challenges. They helped me stay grounded, focused on the positives, and keep moving forward. Good news is, things are much better now! So with this in mind, I'm even more committed to supporting you in your wellbeing and personal growth.
