The Self-Exploration through Cards meet-up could be an interesting experience for you if:
- you feel stuck in a situation
- you’re looking for inspiration for your next steps in career/life/relationships
- you wish to identify your inner / external resources
❚ What to Expect?
We’ll have authentic conversations about your thoughts and feelings with the use of coaching cards. I wish to be your buddy in:
- being more aware of your inner voices
- gaining deeper self-understanding
- identifying available resources for life challenges
Please note that:
- This is not a counseling session but I’m all ears if you want to share~
- The coaching card sets are not tarot and I’m not a reader
- If you want, we can switch roles as well! I love being asked reflective questions a lot!
❚ The Meet-up Format:
- Venue: 3/F, Sunterra Market Keynote
- Duration: 45 - 60 mins
- Group size: Usually 1:1 but you’re most welcome to bring along your friends as long as you feel comfortable
- Language: English / Cantonese / Mandarin
- Fee: Free of Charge

Hi everyone, I’m Alison Kwok from Hong Kong~ I’m new to Calgary and find Meet-up a good platform to make new friends!
I am a recent counseling postgraduate specializing in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and with 4 years of experience in supporting persons with mental and physical challenges along their career and personal development journey.
Hosting “Self-Exploration through Cards” events has always been an idea in my mind. I played the cards with my friends back in Hong Kong but never tried it with new people I just met. I believe it would be another kind of interesting experience. I’m excited about turning this idea into a real event and meeting new friends!
