Birding at Deer Run Community Park

Join us on Saturday, October 17th at 8 am for our field trip to Deer Run Community Park in Casselberry. Seminole County purchased this 138 – acre, former golf course property in 2021 and plans to develop it into a public recreation amenity and environmental asset. We will walk over fields to look for birds in several ponds and adjacent wooded areas. There will be moderate walking over uneven terrain. Please bring your birding equipment, bug spray, water, and a snack. Meet at 8 am at the former clubhouse parking lot. There are no restrooms available at this site.
