Calling all hardware and sensor engineers / developers / enthusiasts!
We are building an open air quality sensor network. We want to give a voice to citizens who are passionate about this topic and a way for them to contribute to the conversation about air quality. The data we will generate will not be perfect, but it can't be ignored!

Following the previous Amsterdam workshop and a follow-on workshop at Eyebeam in NYC, significant progress has been made on the concept and product design. At this workshop in Amsterdam, we'll be tackling the sensor design itself. We will come with lots of different sensors, ready to integrate and test them. We'll get outside and get some real data (we can use Ed's scooter). We want to understand their capabilities and be able to generate a statement about what we think we can learn from their deployment. However, this project will also act as a platform for other people to come after us and improve the system. More info to come at the event about this.
Task 1: Test and measure the accuracy and usefulness of the different sensors.
Task 2: Make a decision and generate some statement about how the Air Quality Egg will be designed.
Task 3: Build 6 prototypes: 3 for AMS, 3 for NYC
Food will be provided! Drinks in the evening will be provided! Please bring materials, tools, etc!
