You've lived a long, hard life of adventuring. Your knees are creaking, your back hurts, and your eyes aren't what they used to be. If you survive this job, though, it promises to pay enough gold to keep you financially secure for the rest of your life.

How will old age affect your character specifically? We'll let the dice decide!

Before the session, I will have you all roll on a de-buff table to see just how bad the ravages of time have been to you. One thing is for sure: You're too old for this shit.

Character Creation
Characters will be 15th Level.

I prefer that you use 2024 rules for character creation, but don't fret! This doesn't rule out the use of 2014 races/subclasses/backgrounds. There's a very simple procedure to convert 2014 to 2024 (found in the 2024 PHB). I will be more than happy to teach you how. Milestone Leveling, No Encumbrance, Ignore Coin Weight. Standard Array or Point Buy for Abilities.

I'll have instructions about Magic Items and the De-Buff table in the Discord.

Don't be afraid to really get weird with it! You've been adventuring for decades. You've seen some things...

Unlike my regular One Shots, I will allow a non-game-breaking amount of Homebrew and/or 3rd Party content. Just run it by me first.

If you're new to character creation, just message me and I will help you through it. We'll use D&D Beyond for this.
What you need:

  • A computer or tablet (It's possible to use a phone, but far from ideal)
  • Some sort of headset (Earbuds with a build in mic are fine)
  • A free Discord account
  • A free D&D Beyond account
  • A web browser of your choice to run the Virtual Tabletop (We'll be using Owlbear Rodeo for this one).
