Let's play Cavum @ Playback Coffee!
Details
Cavum is an under-appreciated board game by the great German board game designer duo Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling. The game is an old-school network-building Euro game where players are building a shared underground mining network, rushing to compete for gem veins, piggybacking on opponents' tunnels and using dynamite to blow up parts of the network.
It's an unusually nasty, highly interactive Kramer/Kiesling Euro hiding a brilliant route-building puzzle under an oft-misunderstood ruleset. I'm always happy to prepare beforehand and teach the rules but I'm looking for a dedicated group willing to learn it well and look past its rough edges.
I'm still figuring out the ideal location to host these sessions moving forward. For now, let's meet at Playback Coffee in San Pedro Square. Since this is a small business, let's be sure to support them by buying their coffee etc. and keeping a clean space.
Please be on time and remember the group rules - give me notice at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel.
