Service Safari: CHaRM Atlanta

Join SDN Atlanta for a Service Safari to Live Thrive's Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM). Together we will explore the recycling services provided by CHaRM through a site visit. During the visit, we will encourage participants to fill out this field guide with observations (print copies will be available at the event).
Following this trip, we will reflect on our experience as a group, and co-create solutions to improve the services provided by Live Thrive’s CHaRM. This next event, titled "Journey to Solutions: CHaRM Atlanta," will take place on October 15, at Ponce City Market.
About CHaRM:
"Live Thrive’s CHaRM locations are Atlanta’s only permanent facilities where residents and businesses can drop off household hazardous waste and other materials not accepted at the curb. Live Thrive’s goal is to divert materials from Atlanta’s water systems and landfills. The organization works with processors and nonprofit partners to ensure materials collected are properly reused, recycled, and reengineered."

Additional Information:
Making an appointment is required. If there are no more appointments available for 10am, book the nearest spot available, you will still be allowed to enter at 10am. Booking appointments is important because it allows Live Thrive to track participation and win grant money. You will be required to show a QR code to be permitted inside the facility.
Can't make it on October 3rd? We encourage you to find another time that works for you! CHaRM is a great resource in Atlanta, and you don't need us to make a visit :)
