Designing a more dignified charitable food experience
Dan Butt, Director of Innovation & Service Design at Feeding America will present a case study from an in-house service design team in the social sector.
Dan helps his partners to create meaningful experiences that have a positive impact on people’s lives. As Director of Innovation & Service Design at Feeding America, he is helping to test new approaches to improve the charitable food experience in collaboration with a nationwide network of Food Banks and people with lived experience. In his previous work, Dan guided internal business teams to develop better health care experiences and supported neighborhoods in Chicago to develop and execute visions for their community as an urban planner. Dan was born in Montreal, Canada but calls Chicago home, along with his wife Nicole and squirrel-loving dog Lola.
