About us
This group is a space for people in Valencia who are curious about sewing, fashion, and hands-on creative learning, especially beginners who want to try something new.
After recently moving to Valencia, the organizer found it surprisingly difficult to find English-language sewing workshops, which inspired the creation of this group. The aim is to create an accessible, friendly space where people can learn and create together without pressure.
The goal of this group is not just to run one-off workshops, but to explore whether there is a community here that values slow fashion, skill-sharing, and learning through making. Activities may include beginner sewing workshops, creative experiments, and small-group sessions where participants can learn practical skills while connecting with others.
This group is led by a fashion designer Jaiya who has recently relocated to Valencia and is transitioning her creative career here after hosting similar workshops in Asia. These meetups are an opportunity to test new ideas, exchange feedback, and build something meaningful together.
