About us
We take turns drawing each other (nude) in 20 min. shifts, instead of hiring a professional model — hence: free.* Bring your own supplies; there are no easels; no instruction. This is a casual group, so no previous nude modeling experience necessary (it’s actually not so scary, and kinda fun). And being on both sides of the drawing pad--as an artist and as a model--gives a unique perspective into the the whole process. All levels of drawing skill welcome; no one’s gonna judge your art. Show & tell at the end for those so inclined.
All are welcome. This group is for everyone who wants to draw the human figure!
*We do sometimes ask for nominal contributions to defray studio and meetup costs.
