Symantec C++: Interactive Profiling with Chandler Carruth

At this month's meeting, we're lucky enough to get Chandler for the second time! He'll be presenting something along the lines of his CppCon plenary session, "Tuning C++: Benchmarks and CPUs and Compilers! Oh My!" This will be a little more informal than our usual presentations, and also more interactive, as Chandler will be DOING IT LIVE. Come see how to use the "perf" toolset to benchmark and profile real C++ code.

Doors open at 6; we'll probably start the actual presentation at 6:30.

Chandler Carruth leads the Clang team at Google, building better diagnostics, tools, and more. Previously, he worked on several pieces of Google’s distributed build system. He makes guest appearances helping to maintain a few core C++ libraries across Google’s codebase, and is active in the LLVM and Clang open source communities.
