About us
Do you have a sailboat and need some crew? Or do you have sailing experience but no boat? Then this group is for you!
This group is all about bringing boats and people together for day sails. It grew out of my frustration as a boat owner, having trouble finding people with sailing experience to crew on my boat. Plenty of people with no experience were interested, but then it turned into me doing everything, which is less fun.
If you have an interest in learning to sail but no experience you can still join, but please understand that most of the people on the boat need to be able to operate the boat, partially for safety reasons. If you have sailing experience (and especially if you have a boat) and you want to sail, then this group is for you!
And it should go without saying, but in order to sail on a boat you need to be able to swim.
