Jonas Schnelli: Bitcoin P2P Network Encryption & Authentication

The current Bitcoin network uses unencrypted communications and unauthenticated connections. Jonas will talk about the BIP151 (https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0151.mediawiki) and BIP150 (https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0150.mediawiki) proposals and why Bitcoin p2p communications should be encrypted. Details about the proposed encryption and authentication schemes and future use cases will be presented.
