Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions

We’re super excited to have Andrew Chow speak at our next meetup. Andrew is a Bitcoin Core contributor and student at the University of Maryland.

“In this talk, Andrew will speak about BIP 174 Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions. Andrew will briefly describe the format itself, discuss the motivations and rationale for the creation of PSBT, and explain how PSBT can be used. The introduction of this standard format allows for interoperability between wallet software and simplifies the processes that involve multiple parties in one transaction. The talk will focus primarily on the uses for the format in offline wallets, hardware wallets, CoinJoins, and multisig.”
