With the Satoshi-style anonymous release of the MimbleWimble whitepaper, the crypto community got a new way to solve privacy and scalability for blockchain transactions. But while MimbleWimble (MW) is creative and exciting, it can also be weird and confusing. Now that Grin is out, we have a real-world example of MW to explore.

Matthieu Riou, CTO and Founder of BlockCypher. BlockCypher’s web services enable blockchain applications to be built easily and reliably. Recently BlockCypher launched Grinmint, the first Grin mining pool in the U.S. and Europe.
