Trail Description (from All Trails): Buena Vista Park Loop on AllTrails
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/buena-vista-loop

Buena Vista is one of my favorite parks as you feel like you step out of the city and into another portal. This is a short 1-2 mile loop trail takes you through the majestic trees in the middle of the city. There are a lot of stairs and it is steep so please be prepared. We’ll stop at the top of the park for tea, guided meditation and a moment of connection. Feel free to bring something to sit on (like a towel or blanket) and any snacks you may want to share. I will bring tea and cups ☺️

Parking Information: There is street parking it is accessible by public transportation.

Hiking Level: moderate, there are stairs to the top and back down.

Hiking Time: About 2 hours

What to Bring: Water, comfortable sturdy walking/hiking shoes, layers to prepare for Bay Area weather, journal, and an open heart. Bring snacks to share for a light mid-afternoon picnic. I will bring a few snacks to share for our halfway point stop. We'll stop at the halfway point for a brief guided meditation and a group connection experience.

While the organizer, Keegan is guiding this experience, she is not the expert in hiking or this trail, this hike is collaborative and is more about connection with nature and each other. This is a hike at your own risk event and take care of each other. We look out for each other and take care of each other along the way, but most importantly, take good care of yourself first. That means knowing your own limits, taking breaks, bringing water to stay hydrated.

If you'd like to contribute for the organizing costs this event and to support this group, as well as supplies and facilitation of this event, you can Venmo me (@KeeganMills) or PayPal. Suggestion contribution ($5-10). There is a fee to host a meetup group on this platform, so your contribution helps support the ongoing efforts of keeping this group going. Any amount is appreciated!

I look forward to seeing you all there!
