Step into a world where every rhythm tells a story, every color carries meaning, and every tradition invites you in. Rhythm of India is a vibrant cultural showcase celebrating the heart, soul, and spirit of Indian heritage through dance, art, and ancient rituals that connect generations.

### Witness the Dance of a Civilization

Be transported by stunning live performances from across India — a rare chance to experience authentic dances in the heart of San Francisco:

  • Ghantu (Sikkim) – A sacred Buddhist folk dance, rich with ritual and reverence.
  • Garba (Gujarat) – Joyful devotion expressed in radiant circles.
  • Ghoomar (Rajasthan) – Graceful elegance spun in tradition and femininity.
  • Dalkhai (Odisha) – A tribal folk dance full of vibrant storytelling and strength.
  • Kathak & Bharatnatyam – Classical Indian masterpieces where rhythm meets storytelling.
  • Fusion, Semi-Classical & Bollywood – Modern expressions that carry the legacy forward.

And many more from the Regions of India....
These performances are meant to be witnessed, felt, and remembered — a tribute to India’s timeless rhythm.

### Kids' Art & Craft Zone (Ages 5–10)

Let young minds explore the spirit of India through hands-on folk and devotional art activities, guided by artist Iranshid, trained in Newari and Thangka painting.
Children will create beautiful keepsakes and explore Indian artistic traditions in a fun, welcoming space.

### Free Henna & Chakra Readings

Unwind with free henna artistry and chakra readings guided by experienced energy practitioners. (First come, First served basis)

  • Discover ancient symbols through beautiful mehndi designs.
  • Reconnect with your inner energy through gentle chakra balancing and intuitive insights.

A quiet moment of self-discovery amidst the celebration.

### Dance Party & Interactive Workshops

As the performances conclude, the square transforms into a cultural playground:

  • Dance workshops open to all – no experience needed
  • A final celebration where everyone joins in the rhythm

Come for the culture. Stay for the spirit. Leave with memories.
Rhythm of India is more than an event — it’s a soulful journey through heritage, creativity, and connection.
