Android Development for Beginners Training Sessions

The course will held once a week on Tuesday for 4 weeks (4/19/2016, 4/26/2016, 5/3/2016, 5/10/2016) from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at Google San Francisco at 345 Spear Street. Study Jam participants who complete the entire course and submit a final project to their local GDG chapter are eligible for a 12% discount for Udacity’s Android Nanodegree

Weather you have little or even NO experiance with developing for android, this guided Udacity Training Course that has been jointly developed by Udacity and Google, will teach you the basics of Designing and Developing an Android app.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN A STUDY JAM?

All are welcome to join a Study Jam, though students should first be sure to meet the course prerequisites and requirements. Here are the Udacity course requirements. This course is intended for beginners. Students with a higher level of programming experience, but want to get started on programming for Android Apps are also welcome. You will be expected to download Android Studio (http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/studio.html) in order to follow along with the instructors throughout the course. Access to an Android device is helpful, but not required, to complete the final project. Please see Technology Requirements (https://www.udacity.com/tech-requirements) for using Udacity.
