Bored with InnoDB built in compression but not brave enough
to trust your data with something else? A new compression feature
called "Column Compression with optional Predefined Dictionary" will
soon be available for Percona MySQL Server for InnoDB. For some data
sets it will have both better compress and better performance than the
existing InnoDB compression. This talk will discuss the design of the
feature, when to use it and how to use it well.
