Welcome to SF Pastel People! This group is for those who are just beginning or more seasoned artists who'd like to meet others with similar interests. We will be a hearty group, working outdoors (plein air), and braving the weather (except for rain!) while we explore beautiful natural spots around SF. Come swap tips, meet new folks and visit new spots with us.

Based on Urban Sketchers, I’ve created a MeetUp group for soft pastel folks who want to work outdoors together. No cost, no teaching - just enjoy each other’s company!
August will take us to the southern part of the city to Glen Canyon Park, a lovely rambling park with lawns, trees, trails and restrooms. At 1pm I’ll be at the lawn area just behind the basketball building (see map). You can stay there or find a different spot. At 3:30 we come back to the lawn area to look at our work.
Alway bundle in layers, we never know how that wind will treat us!!
Bring your pastels, paper, a board, tape, something to sit on, and baby wipes as well as your water and sunscreen. (suggestion in blue links)
