Sketching the Peninsula: The Redwood City Courthouse Square

Details
RWC Courthouse Square: The redux Edition. This time, the Square will be tent free!
Let’s meet at 10 am near the “Bobalicious” corner of the square, near the corner of Broadway and Middlefield. Then we can fan out to sketch the courthouse’s 1910 Italian Renaissance Revival columns, or the Fox Theatre’s 1929 Late Gothic Revival architecture, or the variety of people and pets enjoying a relaxing day. At noon we’ll return to our same meeting spot, and in the spirit of Urban Sketchers worldwide, share our sketches.
Coffee and cuisine abound in downtown RWC, so partake. In fact, for those inclined, after sharing we can do a group lunch and more sketching.
The RWC CalTrain station is a 10 minute walk, and public bathrooms are even closer. We’re all about building a Bay Area art community, one live sketch at a time.
