- September Regional Nature Journal Club Field TripRodeo Beach, GGNRA, Golden Gate National Recreation , CA
Kate Rutter of the Nature Journal Club says:
Let's gather at the seaside to nature journal ocean, beach, and birds!
This wonderful location in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area has so much to offer: waves, dramatic cliffsides, colorful pebbled beach, wide skies, and off the coast, Bird Island with craggy perches for gulls, cormorants, and pelicans. For less action (but no less intrigue) the lagoon offers calm space to settle down with the birds and native plants.- Learn more about the location here: https://www.parksconservancy.org/parks/rodeo-beach
- Free (Suggested $20 donation for the Wild Wonder Foundation.)
