Sketching Flowers at the Marin Art and Garden Center

Details
The Marin Art and Garden Center is a beautiful 11-acre historic property filled with a multitude of flowers and other features to sketch, like the Octagon House, the Rose Garden, the Bottle House Basketry Garden, and the Giant Sequoia transplanted from the Yosemite Valley in the 1880s.
Also, as part of Marin Open Studios 16 local artists will be showing their work at two separate venues on the grounds. These are the artists.
This is the second event of the newly-formed Marin Sketchers. Let's meet up at 10:00am. We'll throw down sketches at noon. We'll meet after at Marin Coffee Roasters, 546 San Anselmo Ave. in San Anselmo. Call Bill at 415.846.1655, if you need more info.
Getting there:
By Car: Take the Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Exit off Hwy. 101, and drive three miles to Ross and look for the sign to the Marin Art and Garden Center. There is plenty of free parking available. Here's a map.
Bring:
• a sketchbook or paper, drawing materials and media in a variety of colors
• a stool or pad to sit on
