Sketching at Funky Greenbrae Boardwalk

Details
The Greenbrae Boardwalk is a hidden gem in Marin, that not many people know about. It's an enclave of unique homes built on pilings that sit along the south side of the Corte Madera Creek inlet and is accessible along a wooden boardwalk. An old railway trestle with drawbridge sits unused. Here are a couple of the drawing I made.
This is the third meet up event of Marin Sketchers. Let's meet up at 10:00am at the Greenbrae Boardwalk entrance. This is also where we'll throw down sketches at noon. Call Bill at 415.846.1655, if you need assistance.
Getting there by car:
It’s a bit tricky to find. Follow US-101 North to the Redwood Hwy. Exit 450A at Larkspur, then make a quick left onto Redwood Hwy. Go to the end and park across from Larkspur Storage. Walk to the Greenbrae Boardwalk gate from there. Here’s a map.
Bring:
• a sketchbook or paper, drawing materials
• a stool or pad to sit on
Also:
• If you want to grab a coffee, tea or snack before, there's a Peets Coffee in the Village at Corte Madera mall.
• Let's meet after sketching at the Rustic Bakery just north in the Marin County Mart at Larkspur Landing.
• Tag your sketches #marinsketchers on Instagram.
