Gardens at Oakland Museum

If you are in town for the holidays, meet Janet right inside the 12th Street entrance to the garden levels of the museum. The gardens are free and open to the public. We'll meet back here at 1:15 pm for the sketchbook thowdown. If it's raining we can sketch and share sketches in the coverd outdoor corridors.

Check https://museumca.org for information and pricing for admission to the museum exhibits. If you have a membership to the museum you could "host" another sketcher as your guest.

Directions: The Lake Merritt BART station is 1.5 blocks of the entrance,
You can enter through the Oak Street entrance, going up to the top level
and over to the gardens. Otherwise, you can go straight on Oak and turn
right at the corner to to the garden side entrance facing Lake Merritt.
There is also free bike parking in the museum garage.
