This is organized by the Cafe Art Circle meetup under SF Sketchers. We explore coffee and tea shops around the Bay Area, using sketching as a way to experience the atmosphere of each place and its neighborhood.

Verve Coffee Roasters was founded in Santa Cruz in 2007 and emerged during the rise of third-wave coffee, a movement that treats coffee as an artisanal craft with an emphasis on sourcing, roasting, and brewing quality. Their Market & Church cafe brings that philosophy into a bright urban space. Personally’s it’s one of the roasters I pick up on my grocery trips to Berkley Bowl and Whole Foods.
