In this hands-on and interactive class you will learn how to make delightful and healing herbal remedies just in time for the holidays, and the winter season.

Together we will make a skin soothing and fragrant herbal salve with herbal body oil, moisturizing cacao and shea butters and beeswax.
We will also create herbal tea blends that are delicious and supportive of reducing stress, helping digestion and more.

You’ll leave this class feeling inspired by the magic and healing properties of plants, and empowered with more knowledge to make your own remedies at home for yourself and/or to gift to others.

You'll get to make a healing herbal salve, as well as a tea blend – and the recipes to replicate these remedies should you choose to after our time together.

Herbal classes with Crystal Marie Higgins are fun and interactive ways to learn more about the power of what is called “everyday herbalism” - wonderful herbs that you can experiment with in the kitchen and on your body (and their properties for your health), and in future classes we’ll talk about even more wellness remedies with herbs. And stay tuned for wild medicinal plant walks in our city parks in the new year with Crystal as well.

NOTE : Herbalism doesn’t have to be put in the place of either or - working with plants can support anything else you are doing to support your system and overall health. All of our ancestors at some point had a deep connection to the land, to the herbs and plants or green realm, to the animals and waters in order to survive. This connection to our roots and deeper belonging was severed, and it is time to reclaim the wisdom we all long for again.
