Neurodivergent Transgender/ Gender Non-Conforming Group (returning January 2023)

A social group for all Neurodivergent trans and gender non-conforming folks. Neurodivergent is inclusive of ASD, Learning Disorders, Mental Health issues, and all brains considered different from the typical.

Basically it is just a space to be around other neurodivergent trans and/or gender non-conforming folks. We'll have food, games, and different art activities. I prefer to have this group be about folks just being able to have a choice in what they do. Often times, the Trans:Thrive drop-in is overwhelming sensory wise, so this is a way of accessing the Drop-In in a more controlled manner.

We use the communication badge system, so just come in and pick a pin to represent the level of interaction you wish to participate at. Green: I am here and I am open to being approached by new folks. Yellow: I am here and only approach me if you know me or let me approach you. Red: I'm here, but please don't talk to me.

If you have never been to a Trans:Thrive group, we ask that you fill out a short survey. It just asks for a little bit of demographic info, that way our financial sponsors know that we have folks utilizing our services.

Neurodivergent Transgender and/or Gender Non-Conforming is a part of Trans:Thrive Services for Trans People, by Trans People. We are part of San Francisco Community Health Center, a clinic in San Francisco.
