SF Underwater Hockey Beginners Game

Details

Welcome to our SF Underwater Hockey event, where trained coaches teach you how to play! FIRST GAME FREE. Beginners wanted - all ages and coed. Swimming background is a plus, average breath hold is only ~12 seconds.

No prior experience necessary, so don't hesitate to try it out! Bring your friends and family too, all are welcomed!

All you need is a suit and towel. If you have your own snorkeling gear and swim fins, that's great, however, we will provide everything if needed.

About the sport:

  • This limited-contact sport typically involves 2 teams of 6, competing to move weighted puck across the bottom of a pool into the opposing team's goal.
  • Wearing snorkeling gear, players submerge briefly to move the puck or support their team.
  • Underwater hockey promotes safe play focusing on coordination, puck handling, teamwork, and fitness.
  • The US has over 50 clubs that play and compete regularly.

See you there!
