For our August meetup, we'll have not one but two speakers! They'll be answering all your questions about YSlow:

YSlow (http://yslow.org/) is a curious little 5-year old now and is constantly learning new tricks. It just learned about the all-powerful Node(.js) and the spooky Phantom(.js) and Marcel will tell you all about it. Then Stoyan will show you how to adopt this baby and teach it new games, rules and scores.

Prior to that he had been into web performance optimization on high traffic sites at Yahoo! Front Page and Search teams where he applied and researched web performance best practices making pages even faster. On his last role as the Front End Lead for Yahoo!’s Exceptional Performance Team, he was dedicated to YSlow (now as his personal opensource project) and other performance tools development, researches and evangelism.
