SFVR #5 was incredible! Now we're going to do something even bigger...
Mozilla is hosting SFVR #6. They are located downtown at Embarcadero & Harrison. They are also supplying free catering. So fancy :)
IMPORTANT: If you've RSVP'ed, you must arrive between 6:30 and 7:15 sharp. At 7:15, we will open the event to everyone on a first-come-first-serve basis.
As always, this event is about getting to know the rapidly growing VR community in San Francisco in a casual and friendly environment. Come join us to learn about and discuss the most exciting space in computing technology.

Amir Rubin (Sixense (http://sixense.com/)) - Sixense develops technology and builds products that deliver the most efficient way to create and the most immersive way to interact with virtual reality content
Craig Dalton / Patrick Buckley (DODOcase (http://www.dodocase.com/products/google-cardboard-vr-goggle-toolkit)) - DODOcase's build-your-own kit costs only $25 and will allow anyone with a smartphone the ability to experience VR.

Oculus (http://www.oculusvr.com/) - Oculus launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund development of their first product, the Oculus Rift, a ground-breaking virtual reality headset for immersive gaming. The Kickstarter was an enormous success, raising over $2.4 million in funding from project backers and supporters around the world. Oculus was acquired by Facebook in March. They launched their second developer kit in July.
Jaunt (http://www.jauntvr.com/) - Jaunt VR's world-class team is developing the most comprehensive toolset for creating cinematic VR.
Leap Motion (https://www.leapmotion.com) - The Leap Motion Controller senses how you naturally move your hands and lets you use your computer in a whole new way. Point, wave, reach, grab. Pick something up and move it. Do things you never dreamed possible.
