Chez Panisse: Table for 6 (Revisit, $50 Deposit)

This event was so popular, we are doing this again. While first come first served, priority given to those that didnt make it last time. I will use organizer privilege to move you manually from waitlist into attending list as I am paid the deposit.

Chez Panisse is a Berkeley, California, restaurant, known as one of the originators of California cuisine and the farm-to-table movement, opened and owned by Alice Waters. The restaurant emphasizes ingredients rather than technique and has developed a supply network of direct relationships with local farmers, ranchers and dairies.

Administrative Trivia

Chez Panisse Restaurant offers a four course set menu designed to celebrate the best sustainably sourced ingredients of the season. Substitutions aside from vegetarian meals are not available. The price is $175 per person, excluding beverages, tax, and service.

Menus for the upcoming week are published the previous Saturday. Please email Chez Panisse directly with any questions about the menu.

No show penalty is $50 per person. Refunds are offered if you switch to RSVP NO by RSVP close on 10/3/25 6pm.

Otherwise, the $50 will be used to pay your portion of the $175 meal plus whateverer extra purchased (drinks, upgrades, tax, tip, health mandate). The difference please pay by cash or Zelle at the end of the meal.

Dress is Casual Elegant.

Taxes and Fees

Dining in Berkeley has a sales tax (10.25%) and a tip (17%) may be automatically added because of the size of our party, even on individual bills. I usually add 30% to each raw bill adding individual dishes, which should include all of these, and round final payment to the closest dollar.

BART: Richmond line stop at Downtown Berkeley.
Walk down Shattuck for 17m.
Street parking: possible but may be impacted.
