Data integration and real-time data processing pipelines with Spring Boot

Details

Spring Cloud Data Flow is a toolkit for building data integration and real-time data processing pipelines. Pipelines are orchestrated microservices, each a Spring Boot app built with Spring Cloud Stream or Spring Cloud Task.

This talk will provide an overview of Spring Cloud Data Flow ecosystem including Spring Cloud Stream, Spring Cloud task, and Spring Cloud Skipper. Building on this foundation, we will review a range of data processing use cases, from event streaming to batch processing, and predictive analytics.

Resiliency and reliability is key to a particular class of data processing use-cases, so we will review SCDF's orchestration abilities in platforms like Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry, and how SCDF and platform as a combination bring added value for data-intensive workloads.
