First up is getting started with Chat-Bots by Michael Whelpley then we've got a two person talk with Jacopo Daeli & Vincent Ning talking about Rapid development of real-time apps with GraphQL, Node.js and MQTT.

Getting Started with Chat-Bots in Node.js

This talk begins with a overview of the chat-bots landscape, explaining what they area and how they have appeared through the years, and why they are experiencing a resurgence in recent times. I then dive into a description of a specific application I made for GetHuman. While interning with them, I made a chat bot app in Node that enables customers to access their database of customer-service contact information via Slack and Facebook Messenger

Michael Whelpley (@mv_whelpley) is a former chef and culinary expert, who has recently changed careers to the world of code. He reformatted his wetware at Dev Bootcamp, and recently has produced his first major project outside of school. He is now looking for full-time employment in the Bay area.

About Jacopo Daeli
Jacopo Daeli (http://jacopodaeli.com/) is a Computer Scientist, Software Engineer and Hacker, passionate about web technologies. He develop with Node.js, Go, C/C++, React and Redux for the web. After a couple of years in London, where he worked as Chief Software Engineer for Impero, Jacopo is now working as Head of Software Engineering at Pikichat, a French company which operates Tribe – the famous Video Messenger application – in Paris and San Francisco through the US subsidiary.

About Vincent Ning
Vincent Ning (https://github.com/sfnode/sfnode/@vning93) is a co-founder of Scaphold.io (https://scaphold.io/?source=sfnode), a backend-as-a-service platform powered by GraphQL. He used to work at Microsoft as a software engineer for about a year before he and his roommate Michael Paris (https://github.com/sfnode/sfnode/@mlp5ab) (also ex-Microsoft) decided it was time to create a more rapid hi-fidelity app-building experience. He's currently based out of the Bay Area running Scaphold full-time as part of the Winter 2017 Y Combinator batch, helping to grow the thousands of apps that are built on the platform.
