Riak at Appush

Dan Reverri will discuss the basics of Riak and why he chose to use Riak at Appush. The presentation will focus on the tools Riak provides to manage data that is "eventually consistent". He will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages in choosing a masterless database solution.

Bio:
Daniel Reverri is a co-founder and CIO of Appush. Appush's mission is to provide server side features that developers can monetize in their applications. He has been working in the software industry for the past 6 years. Daniel graduated from Boston University in 2004 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
