We'll be hosting a joint meetup with SFJS. Talks will revolve around MongoDB and Javascript.

Aaron Heckmann is a Node.js evangelist at 10gen and maintainer of Mongoose.
Mongoose is a MongoDB ODM for Nodejs and is in active development for its next major release. Come hear about the joys and tears of working on an ODM in Node and discover what its future holds.
Diane Bisgeier will present on the next WebFWD class:Do you want to change the world through software? Apply for the Mozilla WebFWD October class now! WebFWD is Mozilla's program to support open source entrepreneurs who hope to transform closed markets and create new ones, focusing on mobile first. It consists of a three-month business creation program for startups around the world (relocation not required) including weekly training sessions & exercises, office hours with industry experts, ongoing coaching and guidance from the world's best technologists. Upon graduating, teams can qualify for follow-on funding from Mozilla. You can learn more about our focus and program at http://webfwd.org

Mark Percival will speak about Brunch:

As the list of client side frameworks grows, so does the need for a better development and deployment toolset. When we moved our front-end to Backbone we chose Brunch(http://brunch.io) for this task. Brunch handles the entire stack of JS/HTML5 development; it compiles coffee-script and mustache templates, handles modularizing your source, and packages/minifies the final output. It's not tied to any particular framework, can easily be extended with plugins, and is written entirely in Javascript on NodeJS. In this talk, we'll discuss what we learned from moving our development process to Brunch, and some of the sticking points along the way.
