Building An API With FastAPI and Deta - Josh Grant
Josh Grant has created and deployed a Random Samples as a Service (RSaaS) in Python. It is written using FastAPI, a nice API micro framework and deployed on Deta, a new hosting solution.
Josh is a Python and automation enthusiast currently working at Sauce Labs and based in Toronto.

Nathan Coffield will provide a white-board session describing how Facebook uses a Python daemon to monitor and promote primary databases in the event of a network or hardware failure.
Nathan is skilled in distributed systems design, administration, and software/hardware life-cycle management. His focus is on supporting engineers through education, with a personal interest in supporting those with special needs.
